Internship: Flat to last year, closed the gap.

International Placement:

Full Time: Progressing, but still lagging to benchmarks tough hiring environment!

Internships: Ahead of both benchmarks through March

FJob Offers:

Full Time: Job offers trending to last year, placement hopefully just a timing issue.

INTERNSHIP: Job offers up vs. last year (% of students with offers), and placement is flat. The offers/students are down slightly, reflecting a tough hiring environment.

SUMMARY:

For Full Times, this is the toughest hiring environment in the last 14 years as measured by placement. The Trump Tariffs are causing companies to pause, and are struggling to understand how this will impact their businesses, and for us, placement. Hence, this year it demands more work on part of the MBAs. Please practice your skills - mock interview with Perry, Shawna, and Rick. As we see and find opportunities, we will be sending them out.

For Internships, we are right on track to last year. We do not see many multiple offers per MBA, another indicator of market uncertainty and challenge.

February: We closed the gap to last year significantly for both Full Time, and Internship MBA recruiting:

International Placement:

FT still has some work to do to catch up to last year and 3 yr. moving average. Internships are right on track, within the margin of error.

Full Time Job Offers:

FT Job offers picked up in February, vs. benchmarks. Still work in process, but getting there. Slightly ahead of all of last year's benchmarks, except for placement.

Internship offers are trending to last year, only placement is down some 6% points. Two-thirds of the class now has received at least one offer.

SUMMARY:

We are getting into the home stretch for the recruiting year. Hang in there and keep pressing forward with a perfect brightness of hope. Blessings are there, and there is help. Please come pay Perry, Shawna, or myself a visit to discuss recruiting.
