Strategic Human Resources Track
The strategic human resources major provides a foundation for those interested in the study of organizational change, development, and the strategic management of human resources. Curriculum emphases include leadership, motivation, organizational design, organizational theory, small group dynamics and teamwork, change management, strategic HR, international career management, and changing organizational cultures, among others. Coursework is structured to provide opportunities for practical experience through special projects and student research. The strategic human resources major also prepares students for advanced graduate studies in a doctoral degree program.
