LAMP List

Overview:

One of the challenges an MBA student will face with recruiting is to develop a list of companies that he or she is interested in, and has passion around, pursuing. This checkpoint is designed to help jump-start that effort. With the help of “The Two-Hour Job Search” approach, developed by Steve Dalton, BYU MBAs will develop a 40 company “LAMP” list to help focus their efforts in finding their dream job. This space provides resources that will help you in the formulation and regulation of that list.

Purpose of the checkpoint:

✅ Identify target companies
✅ Build Contacts at Listed Companies

Checkpoint Completion Criteria:

✅ Have a LAMP List of at least 30 target companies for Job Search
✅ Begin compiling all available contacts at target companies
